Wild Rock - An Evolution Of Passion
When we founded Wild Rock in 1992 we did so with a commitment to Peterborough, our new home. Over the years we have established and supported clubs and organizations that are active in the outdoors; those increasing the capacity for, and access to, outdoor recreation.
30 years later, we believe that our city needs more from us. Together with our customers, we believe that we can work toward meaningful change in addressing some of the most challenging social issues in Peterborough.
Most importantly, we believe we can engage in issues of equity without losing the passion that we have for the outdoor spaces of the Kawarthas.

For years we have heard from you, our customers, that you value our commitment to this community. Now, we are asking you to join us in supporting causes that will make Peterborough a better place to live for people who are struggling to find stability, as well as a fun place to live for those who love to play outdoors.
The Wild Rock ComPassion Project will educate people about community agencies and volunteer opportunities, as well as raise money and grant funds to the hard-working organizations on the front lines.

To use Wild Rock’s networks to encourage our customers to engage socially for the benefit of the entire community.
To assemble a new generation of volunteers and philanthropists through ongoing education regarding both need and opportunity within our partner organizations.
To use Wild Rock’s platforms to simplify and normalize the acts of giving; both physically and financially.
To responsibly and transparently fundraise and distribute funds in ways that support the values of the Wild Rock community.
